Special Guilin tour with Taiji Quan and Cooking training 4 days
Itinerary
Day 1, Guilin Arrival
Upon arrival, be met and transferred to your hotel with private vehicle & tour guide.
Day 2 (B, L) Guilin / Yangshuo
Take day trip Li River Cruise to Yangshuo with lunch aboard.
- Li River Cruise: Depart from your hotel in the morning. Be transferred to the Zhujiang Pier (about 1 hour drive) for a 4.5 hours wonderful cruise. You will enjoy the picturesque mountains, peaceful green fields, farms and villages with water buffalos, cows wondering around on both sides of the river bank.
Disembark at the one-thousand-year-old town Yangshuo in the afternoon. Free at leisure to explore the old town after check-in your hotel.
Day 3, (B, L) Yangshuo
Free day in Yangshuo learning Taiji Quan and making Chinese food.
- 2-hour Taiji Quan Learning
Taiji Quan is an internal martial art system which places emphasis on the development and control of Chi (Consciousness) energy within the body. It is a way to the highest form of life of the human mind and body and suitable to all ages of people to practice. In a relaxing and supportive manner, and in a time frame suitable to your convenience, our professional trainer will acquaint you with the soul of Taiji.
- Half-day Chinese Cooking Class
Taught in English, the class covers not only how the dishes are prepared, but also the culture and customs. During the class, you will learn three popular dishes on your own set of cooking equipment provided by local restraurant. And after the class you can sit down to enjoy your culinary creations and to share your new learning with other students like you.
Day 4, (B, L) Yangshuo / Guilin
Drive back to Guilin and visit Reed Flute Cave, Fubo Hill, then be transferred back to your hotel or to the airport straightly in the afternoon.
- Fubo Hill: You can see lots of rock stone carvings & Buddha statues since Tang Dynasty. Have a wonderful bird's-eye view of Guilin city if you climb to the summit.
- Reed Flute Cave: Known as "the Palace of Natural Arts" where you can see beautiful stalactites & stalagmites, learn how they are formed.
