8-Day Hiking Tour alongside the Li River and Yulong River

Itinerary
Day 1: Guilin Arrival
Upon arrival in Guilin, you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel to enjoy your free time.
Day 2: Guilin - Caoping Meals (B+L)
Sightseeing: Town of Daxu 
Transfer from the hotel to the starting point of our hiking tour, Town of Daxu. In Daxu you will visit an old street of the Ming Dynasty where you can inspect closer a pharmacy with medicines, a distillery and some house yards. After this short visit you will start your hiking tour alongside the Li River. The final destination of today’s trip is the Muslim town of Caoping.

Day 3: Caoping - Yangdi Meals (B+L)
Sightseeing: Crown Hill
Visit Crown Hill (Guanyan). Here you can see the fantastic and gigantic stalagmites and stalactites caves by an elevator, a little train and a boat. After the visit to the cave you climb to the top of the hill. There you obtain the best view. From there, you go further through towns, rice fields and orchards until you reach the town of Yangdi.

Day 4: Yangdi - Xingping Meals (B+L)
The passage between Yangdi and Xingping is the most beautiful part of the Li River: bizarre hills, green bamboo and browsing buffalos. In Xingping you can ascend a hill to enjoy the sunset.

Day 5: Xingping Meals (B+L)
Xingping is a marketplace with a 2000 year old history. Several workshops still remain. From here you walk into the abyss of the karst-hill landscape to visit the town. Most of the houses in the town are built up with flagstone. The guesthouse is located at the foot of the hill and has fish ponds and a swimming pool.

Day 6: Xingping - Jiuxian Meals (B+L)
Sightseeing: Yulong River
Today you start your trip along the tributary of the Li River. The Yulong River is famous for his clear and calm water, the reflection of the mountains, and the bamboo.
Accommodation: Jiuxian Laogeng Guesthouse
Day 7: Jiuxian-Yangshuo Meals (B+L)
Your tour leads you to the landing stage of the Yulong River, where you take a bamboo-boat river cruise.
Accommodation: Yangshuo Focus Guesthouse
Day 8: Yangshuo Meals (B)
For the early-birds is it the best occasion to enjoy the sunrise from the roof of the guesthouse. Transfer to the airport in the afternoon.
