Itinerary
Day 1: Guilin Arrival
Sightseeing: Elephant Trunk Hill / Reed Flute Cave
You will be met at the airport and transferred to your downtown hotel. After freshening up, you will visit the Elephant Trunk Hill. As the symbol of Guilin, it has become one of the most popular natural monuments. It resembles an elephant drinking from the Li River. Afterwards, you will pay a visit to the Reed Flute Cave. The Cave is Guilin's largest and most impressive cave. This cave is 790 feet deep. A visitor will walk for some 550 yards through a zigzagging way of stalactites and stalagmites lit in dazzling colors.
Day 2: Guilin – Yangshuo: Meal(s) (B+L)
Sightseeing: Li River / Western Street
You will get up early in the morning and drive about 40 minutes to Zhujiang pier to take the Li River cruise, which is considered as one of China's top tourist destinations. It is the river of traditional Chinese poems and paintings. The region covers an 83-km karst area with clear, exotic, ingenious and changing characteristics. After a 4.5 hour Li River Cruise, you will arrive at Yangshuo County, a dream place for many tourists who want to see the real natural landscape and touch the countryside life.
You will take a short walk along the famous foreigner street- Western Street - after checking in at your hotel.
Day 3: Yangshuo - Lipu - Zhaoping: Meal(s) (B+L)
Sightseeing: Silver Cave / Huangyao Ancient Town
Get up early in the morning and drive to Lipu County to visit the Silver Cave. The Silver Cave runs through 12 mountains and a round-trip tour covers approximately 2 km. These majestic, diamond-like stalactites decorate the cave and make it into a dazzling place. After lunch, drive to Zhaoping and visit Huangyao Ancient Town. The town is most famous for its mountains with caves, pavilions, temples, ancestor halls, old trees and tablets. Every corner of the town presents a typically Chinese scene and presents a marvelous photo opportunity.
Day 4: Zhaoping - Zhongshan: Meal(s) (B+L)
Sightseeing: Lotus Ponds Scenic Spot / Bishui Cave
After checking out at the hotel, drive to Zhongshan. You will spend the day touring around the city, including visits to Lotus Ponds Scenic Spot and Bishui Cave. The Bishui Cave is more than 4km long, up to 100m high and 90m wide. A winding path leading to a secluded spot, and an infinite variety of fantastic phenomena, result in the cave being called "The First Cave under the Heaven".
Day 5: Zhongshan - Hezhou: Meal(s) (B+L)
Sightseeing: Guposhan National Forest Park / Luhua Hot Spring
Get up early in the morning and drive about 56km to Hezhou and visit Guposhan National Forest Park. With its beautiful natural scenery, historic sites and ethnic folklore, Guposhan National Forest Park is an important part of the city’s rich tourism resources. Afterward, you will visit Luhua Hot Spring. Streams of hot spring water flow out from a rock crevice on the mountainside. The hot gas rises like dancing smoke and fog, wreathing up into the sky of the valley. So charming and mysterious it is, as if you have stepped into a fairyland. Your next stop is Yushilin Stone Forest Scenic Spot.
Day 6: Hezhou - Guilin: Meal(s) (B+L)
Today you visit Fushan Scenic Spot, Hakka Houses and Daguishan National Forest Park before you driving back to Guilin.
Day7: Guilin - Next destination: Meal(s) (B)
The morning is at your leisure before you board your flight back home.
