Day 1 Yichang ( L )
Sightseeing: Three Gorges Dam / Chinese Sturgeon Museum
Pick you up from hotel and transfer you to the three gorges Dam in the morning. The tour will take you about one hour and a half. After the tour, transfer you back to city center and have lunch in a nice local restaurant. You will visit Chinese Sturgeon Museum.
Chinese Sturgeon Museum -The Chinese Sturgeon is an animal strictly protected by the Chinese government. It has a history of 140 million years, and is thought to have lived at the same time as dinosaurs. That is why it is called a "living fossil".
Three Gorges Dam -The Three Gorges Project, as one of the biggest hydropower-complex project in the world, ranks as the key project for improvement and development of Yangtze River. The Three Gorges Dam is designed to greatly improve flood control on the river and protect the 15 million people and 3.7 million acres of farmland in the lower Yangtze flood plains.
