Address : Beihai Scenic Area Huangshan China

The Beihai Hotel (Beihai binguan) is a three star hotel located not far from the eastern steps. This is the best hotel for those who wish to catch the sun set or rise under/over the almost constant sea of clouds for which Huangshan is immortalised. This hotel is very popular with visitors to the mountain and is thus both fairly high priced and often crowded. The hotel is run by the Huangshan Jinjiang International Management Co. A photo of Deng Xiaoping near to the hotel decorates the lobby.

Built in 1958 and expanded and renovated in 1996, the hotel has a total of 185 standard rooms, 319 economy rooms and 2 deluxe suites. The hotel is equipped with central air-conditioning, IDD telephones, closed circuit television and hot water.

The hotel has a beauty salon meant for the Chinese ladies who stumble up or down the mountain in high heels and make up. There is also a bar, a gym, a steam bath, a small shop and a foreign exchange desk. For dining, the hotel provides both Chinese and western food, for fairly high prices.
