The Shilin Hotel (Shilin dajiudian), which is 1,630 meters above sea level, is located in Beihai Scenic Area, at the foot of Lion Peak. The Hotel is surrounded by mountains and pine trees. The Hotel is 10 minutes walk from the sunrise observation site and half an hour's walk from the cloud valley cableway.

The hotel has 122 standard rooms, 18 rooms for couples and 2 suites. Rooms are equipped with closed-circuit TV, central air-conditioner, program controlled telephone and an automatic fire alarm system.

For dining, there are several restaurants, coffee shop and bar. The hotel's Chinese Restaurant mainly serve Sichuan, Huaiyang cuisine and local specialties. The hotel has meeting rooms, dance halls, bars, beauty salon, sauna, recreational center, shops, business center, foreign exchange and some other facilities and services.
