Tianya Haijiao
Tianya Haijiao sits on Maling Mountain facing the sea, and lying to the west of Sanya City. Tianya Haijiao, with its irresistible magic, in recent years, has attracted countless tourists from all over the world.
Tianya Haijiao means End of Heaven and Corner of the Sea. It is a group of huge stones standing at the most southern point of Hainan and therefore the most southern part of China. The center stone is 10 meters high, with a circumference of 60 meters, and is inscribed with the Chinese characters Tian Ya' (End of Heaven) on one side and 'Hai Jiao' (Corner of the Sea) on the other.
Walking along the seashore, you will see a stone carved with the four characters Nan Tian Yi Zhu, which means in Chinese 'a pillar standing in the southern part of the sky'.
Tianya Haijiao also attracts thousands of young couples from every corner of the world to hold their wedding ceremonies here. You will definitely have fond memories after visiting this scenic spot.
