Evening Cruise of Huangpu River
Huangpu River or Whampoo, 97 km long, rising in the lake district of Shanghai Municipality, East China, and flowing northeast past Shanghai into the Chang estuary at Wusong. Cruise along the elegant lights and architecture of the Bund—once one of the most famous districts in China. Though its heyday was during the 1930s and 40s, the Bund retains a distinct enchantment with its various forms of architecture (from Neo-Classical to Art Deco) lining the street—still one of the most popular sights in Shanghai.
