Shenzhen Xianhu Botanical Garden

Shenzhen Xianhu Botanical Garden is located in the northeast of the city on Xianhu Road with the majestic Wutong Mountain behind. The gardens are not spectacular but this large, green and clean space is a refreshing and welcome change from the rest of this concrete city. Shenzhen Xianhu Botanical Garden covers about 590 hectares, and comprises 588 hectares of botanical gardens. There are over 400 different species of plants growing here and the area is listed as a conservation area. Shenzhen Xianhu Botanical Garden also contains a plant research institute. There are several pleasant pavilions scattered about that provide shelter from the sun.
