Splendid China
Splendid China is an attraction at the Overseas Chinese Town, Shenzhen, which has small scale replicas of China's historical buildings, wonderful scenes and folk customs. With an area of more than 315,000 square meters, it is one of the largest and most elaborate miniature scenery parks in the world. The scale models are in the main in a ratio of 1:15 and the exhibits are positioned to replicate their geographical locations. Each piece was handcrafted to maintain authenticity. The park's replica of the Great Wall took nearly seven million, inch-long bricks and stretches nearly a kilometer. The replica of the Leshan Buddha is four stories high.
Each evening, Splendid China puts on a show featuring a rotating cast of 60 dancers, actors, and acrobats.
